The waterjet cutting process is achieved by
pressurising filtered water to supersonic
levels through a tiny nozzle (in the range
of 0.3mm) from a double-acting fluid
intensifier.
An abrasive material is added to the water
to cut hard materials. This cold-cutting
process allows materials to be cut without
leaving a heat-affected zone. Its possible
to cut ferrous and non-ferrous materials
such as marble, plastic, etc.
Waterjet is a precise and versatile cutting
technology.
